Sensemaya CD "Shake It!" Rob
Aronstein co-produced, recorded, and mixed this ambitious CD. Recorded
and mixed over the course of 3 years, this project is impressive for the
musicianship of the players, the eclectic set of compositions, the
infectious grooves, and the attention to detail readily apparent in the entire production.
Read a review of Rob's work on the cut Cha-Cha Sensemaya from this CD, which was chosen as Recording Magazine's September 2010 Spotlight Recording.

Original Big Band Jazz!Rob Aronstein served as consultant and recording engineer on Keith Pray's live big band recording. Recorded over 6 separate performances at Albany's Lark Tavern, this recording presented some unique recording challenges. Careful selection of microphones and critical adjustments in positioning helped bring clarity to the recording of this 17 piece band in very tight quarters.

Accordian + Piano + Bass + Drums = JazzRob Aronstein served as recording and mix engineer on this live recording, and mastered the project as well. The recording took place in April 2010 at Schenectady's legendary Van Dyck jazz club. This is a great example of the extremely high quality recording a band can achieve on a reasonably small budget with some planning and a package recording deal with Rob!

| | Rocking Boogie and BluesRob Aronstein played piano and Hammond Organ on two tunes on this CD. A great example of what cna be done via the internet. Rob received stereo rough mixes via internet FTP, recording his piano and organ tracks in his home studio. He then sent his tracks, including multiple takes, back to project engineer John Holbrook via the web for integration into the final product.
